The Institute of Basic Medical Sciences (IMB) at the University of Oslo (UiO) organized Postertorget 2024 on Tuesday, September 24. The event was a great success, and the hope is that this can become an annual exhibition where our employees can present their research.

Hege Berg Henriksen wins the jury award

The jury award for best poster this year went to Hege Berg Henriksen for her presentation on DIGIKOST. The application is a tool for dietary registration and is designed to make it easier for users to log and analyze their diet.

Following behind were Pawel Borovicz with "Where is my CAR," "Computational models predict patient outcomes in luminal B breast cancer treated with endocrine therapy and CDK4/6 inhibition," presented by Alvaro Köhn-Luque, a poster made by Schmiester, Köhn-Luque and others, and finally Lisette Sandoval with "Regulation of macropinocytosis."

Audience Award to the Workshops

The audience award, based on votes from visitors to the exhibition, was given to the workshops' poster about the various services they offer at IMB. The workshops play an important role in supporting the institute’s research activities with specialized techniques and services. The audience clearly appreciated the presentation that showcased the practical services and resources available to researchers at IMB. A full 22% of the votes went to this poster.
