“Open Research Europe is a key initiative for achieving the goals of open research, including by supporting open publishing, safeguarding research quality, and facilitating data sharing in line with the FAIR principles,” says Aronsen.
“I greatly appreciate the opportunity to contribute to this work in the years ahead.”
Open Research Europe (ORE) is a publishing platform for publications, data and other research outputs, established by the European Commission five years ago. Researchers funded through the European Commission’s programmes can publish peer-reviewed articles there at no cost to themselves or to readers. The platform is now being expanded to include researchers with grants from 16 national research councils across Europe.
