New this year was the opportunity for researchers to include screens and physical equipment such as microscopes. Interactive brain images, videos of cancer cells and blood flow in zebrafish were on display, while some participants presented their research through microscopes.

Attendees could also try out patient communication with an AI partner, and scent sticks.

Several poster awards

This year, IBV, IOB and NCMBM were also invited to take part. As a result, poster awards were presented in several categories.

Two poster winners were selected from IMB: an Audience’s Choice Award for the best poster, and a Jury’s Choice award. Magdalena Winklhofer from the Eskeland lab won the Audience’s Choice Award for her poster, “Interactive screening platform for evaluating candidate targets”. Alexey Golovin and Andrea Willkommen Eiken from the Hybrid Technology Hub - Centre for Organ on a Chip-Technology received the Jury’s Choice Award for “Custom engineering for advanced cell culture research”.

Celebrating the winners

The institute congratulates the winners! A big thank you to the organisers and all participants who helped make the 2026 poster fair a lively and resounding success. We look forward to seeing you again next year!
