Academic interests
Christoffer is committed to advancing the field of machine learning and is interested in how these methods can be applied in bioinformatics and health research.
Background
Christoffer completed a master's degree in machine learning at the University of Bergen in 2024. His master's thesis focused on developing a novel semi-supervised clustering algorithm to improve cell-type classification in single-cell protein expression data by leveraging domain-specific knowledge of how particular cell-type groups behave.
PhD project
«Multimodal Data Integration for Personalized Treatment Recommendations»
In his doctoral work, Christoffer investigates the significance of missing values in different data modalities, and how redundancy between data types can be exploited to compensate for incomplete data. The goal is to increase the robustness of prediction models and lay the foundation for more precise, personalized treatment recommendations.
