Collaborations

Collaboration and shared interests

We collaborate with groups that are interested in membrane trafficking, macropinocytosis, lipid signalling, host–pathogen interactions, cancer cell biology, and advanced imaging. Collaborations typically start from either (i) a defined mechanistic question or (ii) a shared assay/imaging need with a clear readout.

What we can contribute

Mechanistic expertise in vesicle identity transitions (PIPs/Rabs) and macropinocytosis

Quantitative live-cell imaging readouts of trafficking dynamics

VLP uptake assays for entry mechanisms

Functional genetics approaches (including CRISPR screening logic and follow-up validation)

Key collaborations

UiO/Oslo area

Coen Campsteijn (UiO, IMB)

Harald Stenmark (OUS / UiO)

CanCell Center of Excellence (UiO, Oslo) – affiliated members

International

Johannes Freitag (University of Marburg) – sorting and specialised subdomains in peroxisomes

How to propose a collaboration

Send a short message with (1) your question, (2) model system, (3) what you can measure now, and (4) what you want to measure next. If you already have pilot data, include one figure.
