Research Focus
The primary emphasis has centered on tailoring treatments for individuals facing severe mental disorders. The ongoing research focus revolves around personalized talk therapy and comprehending its efficacy for those dealing with depression and psychotic disorders. This comprehensive approach encompasses both quantitative and qualitative methodologies to enhance our insights into the workings of various psychosocial treatments and identify avenues for improvement. The research extends to the optimization of the therapeutic environment in psychiatric wards, exploration of countertransference reactions, examination of diverse facets of early psychosis intervention, and conducting randomized controlled trials for cognitive-behavioral therapy, psychodynamic therapy, and family intervention.
