Education and Experience
I have received my PhD from UCL in 2020. During my PhD and my first postdoc at the University of Geneva (2020-2022), I was working on molecular dynamics, specifically development and application of enhanced sampling methods. Since 2022, I’ve been a postdoc at NCMBM, switching fields a little bit to bioinformatics. I have experience with Python, C++, and various aspects of high-performance computing.
Research Interests
My main project currently is the development of STOAT – a tool whose aim is to generate gene regulatory networks from spatial transcriptomic data. I have also developed SPONGE, a tool that creates prior networks. Apart from that, I am involved in our weekly software quality seminars and code reviews.
Awards
Scientia fellowship – 2022-2024
UiO:Life Science internationalization support grant - 2024, x2
Collaborations
I am currently collaborating with Anniina Färkkilä at the University of Helsinki on the application of our network tools to GeoMx and tCycIF data from ovarian cancer. I have visited the University of Helsinki for two months in autumn 2025.
