Emre Yaksi: The role of astroglia-neuron interactions in epilepsy.
In this talk I will discuss about our findings on the role of astroglia-neuron interactions in generation and control of epileptic seizures, using zebrafish model. Our findings suggest that targeted approaches to interfere with these processes can have a potential impact for identifying novel epilepsy therapies.
