Academic interests
I work at the intersections of translation theory, medical humanities, conceptual history, online media, and corpus linguistics. I am involved in the development of the Oslo Medical Corpus.
Courses taught
Background
I studied linguistics and literature at KU Leuven (Belgium), and hold a PhD in Translation and Intercultural Studies from the University of Manchester (UK). Before joining the University of Oslo, I worked as a postdoctoral researcher at Trinity College Dublin (Ireland), and as an assistant professor at Boğaziçi University (Turkey).
