About the group
Our research is primarily focused on:
- Perinatal nutrition, encompassing optimalization of nutrition to pregnant women and their offsprings after delivery. Special emphasis is given to small children, in order to improve their growth and cognitive function. A major part of this research takes place in Western-, Southern- and Eastern Africa.
- Selective patient-categories with a focus to optimize their nutritional status. Examples include adults undergoing blood stem cell transplantation and adults with refractory epilepsy.
