We executed a randomized study to examine the effect of an education intervention to improve their dietary habits and their children's birth weight.

A framework for improving the effectiveness of integrated nutrition interventions in Uganda

This is an ongoing study to examine the effect of a community-based intervention to improve food security and nutritional status among the residents in various parts of Uganda.

Cardiovascular risk reduction-diet in pregnancy: CARRDIP

This is a follow-up study of a randomized trial examining the effects of a Mediterranean diet among healthy pregnant women conducted 20 years ago.  We now re-examine these women and their children.

This is an ongoing randomized trial testing the health effects among women and their offspring of consuming an organic diet during pregnancy

Reducing depressive symptoms among Unviersity students in Uganda: NutriMind 

This is an ongoing randomized trial using a combined intervention with a Mediterranen diet and mindfulness-based cognitive therapy to reduce depressive symptoms among University-students in Uganda.

The child nutrition and development study in Uganda: CHNUDEV 

This is a follow-up study of a randomized education trial testing the effects on child growth and developmental outcomes of an education intervention among their mothers in rural Uganda in 2013-2014.
