Strategy

CanCell's strategy is to unite the forces of researchers with expertise on distinct cancer cell programmes in order to identify their cross-talk.

This will enable us to uncover potential vulnerabilities of cancer cells which will be targeted for pharmacological and genetic reprogramming.

Close collaborations with associate members who are leading experts in molecular biology, biostatistics, bioinformatics, preclinical models and clinical medicine will contribute to translate the centreĀ“s research from bench to bedside.

Yearly visits form world-leading visiting professors will stimulate international collaborations and ensure that the centre's programmes advance the frontiers of cancer research.

It is an additional goal for the centre to foster the next generation of leading cancer researchers, and the centre's young scientists will be offered the best available research infrastructure and training.
