Inaugural SAB visit to CanCell 2019
CanCell will have its first evaluation by the Scientific Advisory Board (SAB) March 11 - 12. Internationally renowned scientists will spend two days interacting with and observing the centre, our scientists and their operations.
The visit will begin with presentations of the CanCell groups in Seminar Room 1 at ICR from 11.30 to 15.45. These sessions will have open attendance. The first day will conclude with a tour of CanCell's lab areas and facilities.
The program will continue on Tuesday with discussions with young scientists and includes visits to the IMB CanCell sites. The visit will end in a presentation of a preliminary summary from the SAB members. This summary will take place at Room L-200 at 14.00 at IMB and will be open to all CanCell members.
The SAB consists of Marja Jäättelä (Danish Cancer Society, Copenhagen, Denmark), Johanna Ivaska (University of Turku, Finland), Pier Paolo Di Fiore (Istituto Europeo di Oncologia, Milano, Italy), Michael Boutros (Deutsche Krebsforschungszentrum, Heidelberg, Germany) and Stephan Beck (University College London, UK).
