Ivar Gladhaug new dean at the Faculty of Medicine

The faculty board has elected Ivar Gladhaug as dean at the Faculty of Medicine for 2019–2022.

Only one nominee had been named as dean of the Faculty of Medicine after an extended nomination period of one week. According to the rules for the election, the elected members of the faculty board has elected Ivar Gladhaug as dean.

This is the team that will be leading the faculty the next four years.

  • Dean: Ivar Gladhaug, professor, Institute of Clinical Medicine
  • Pro-Dean for research: Jens Petter Berg, professor, Institute of Clinical Medicine
  • Pro-Dean for studies: Elin Olaug Rosvold, professor, Institute of Health and Society
  • Vice-Dean for internationalization and innovation: Hilde Nebb, professor, Institute of Basic Medical Sciences
  • Vice-Dean for postdoctor and master programmes (50 %): Eivind Engebretsen, professor, Institute of Health and Society
