The purpose of the research foundation is to initiate and promote research and related projects that can contribute to illuminate and improve the overall life situation of:
- children, youth, and adults with congenital heart defects, hereditary heart defects, or early acquired heart disease.
- pregnant women with diagnosed heart disease in the fetus.
- families who have lost their child/youth with heart disease.
In the organization's strategic program, holistic care throughout the lifespan is important. This involves collaboration across disciplines and organizations.
