The goal of the Mission on Cancer is to improve the lives of more than 3 million people by 2030, through prevention, cure and for those affected by cancer including their families, to live longer and better. The EU mission on cancer and the Europe’s Beating Cancer Plan are political and strategic commitments to turn the tide against cancer.
Topics for the 2024 call
- Improving the understanding and management of late-effects in adolescents and young adults (AYA) with cancer. (RIA, indicative budget €4-6 million)
- Support a pragmatic clinical trial programme by cancer charities (CSA, indicative budget €3 million)
- Accessible and affordable tests to advance early detection of heritable cancers in European regions (IA, indicative budget €10-12 million)
- Use cases for the UNCAN.eu research data platform (RIA, indicative budget €3 million)
- Support dialogue towards the development of national cancer data nodes (CSA, indicative budget €3 million
- An information portal for the European Cancer Patient Digital Centre (IA, indicative budget €12 million)
