WGH Campaigns (global)
2021 has been designated as the International Year of Health and Care Workers (YHCW) in appreciation and gratitude for the dedication that health and care workers have shown especially in the response to the COVID-19 pandemic. The Gender Equal Health and Care Workforce Initiative (GEHCWI) sees the YHCW as an opportunity for involved sectors to drive policy action to achieve the visionary agenda for women’s rights and empowerment outlined in Beijing Declaration and Platform for Action.
