Advisory services and application support for Horizon Europe proposals
The EEF gives priority to supporting HEU proposals. We can assist you with:
- Guidance on funding mechanisms
- Developing a timeline for proposal preparation
- Helping to navigate in the EU Funding & Tenders Portal and completing administrative information
- Coordination with partners, collection of Part A partner information, and entering data in the EU Funding & Tenders Portal (HEU coordinator proposals)
- Internal review of the proposal (ERC, MSCA and HE coordinator proposals), subject to capacity
- External review (subject to budget and completeness of the proposal)
- Letters of support
- Mock interviews for candidates advancing to Step 2
- Start-up meeting for funded HEU coordinator projects
Please notify us your request for assistance at least 8 weeks before the EU application deadline at: med-funding@medisin.uio.no. Capacity to provide assistance will be evaluated continuously and may be subject to change.
Advisory services and application support for national center initiatives
The EEF coordinates the process at the faculty level and assists researchers with major national initiatives such as:
- The Research Council of Norway’s Centre of Excellence (SFF)
- The Research Council of Norway’s Centres for Research-based Innovation (SFI)
- Stiftelsen Kristian Gerhard Jebsen
Advice and application support for other international proposals
When capacity allows, EEF can also assist with other, larger international proposals.
Identification and dissemination of information on relevant calls
The EEF’s primary information activities are:
- Funding Opportunities newsletter: Through this newsletter to faculty’s researchers, the EEF announces relevant national and international funding calls in medicine, health and life sciences.
- Grants Calendar MED: This digital tool, developed by the EEF in collaboration with SPIR (Process, information management and framework), provides an overview of calls and programmes relevant to faculty’s researchers: https://prudens.educloud.no/#/site/UiO/views/GrantcalenderMED/Listofcalls
- Excel overview of thematic HEU calls: The EEF distributes information on thematic HE calls for proposals (Pillar II, Cluster1 Health) in Excel format.
Postdoctoral Programme – Proposal writing course
