Kristine Dolva joins Hybrid Technology Hub
This month Kristine Dolva joined the Hybrid Technology Hub - Center for Organ on a Chip-technology. Kristine will work on the development of a "Heart-fibre-on-chip"-system to allow physiological media recirculation in the microfluidic system.
Kristine has a Master’s degree in molecular biomedicine from the University of Copenhagen and a Bachelor’s degree in molecular biology from University of Bergen. During her master’s she worked in the Copenhagen Cilia Group where she studied the role of primary cilia in heart development and characterized a candidate gene in congenital heart disease. Earlier this year she worked with molecular cancer diagnostics at the Radium hospital in the Molecular hematopathology unit.
In her spare time, Kristine likes to hike, knit, and make Italian food.
