Stian Kogler is the latest hiring at the Hybrid Technology Hub

In January Stian Kogler started as a principal engineer at the Hybrid Technology Hub - Centre for Organ on a chip-technology.

As a principal engineer Stian will work on the development and integration of on-line liquid chromatography mass spectrometry (LC-MS) analysis for microfluidic systems.

Stian has a Master's degree in analytical chemistry and a Bachelor's degree in biochemistry, both from the University of Oslo. In his previous work he has worked with designing a prototype system for on-line coupling of hepatic organoids to LC-MS. The system was used for on-line measurement of drug metabolism. Stian also has experience working with inorganic material synthesis to fabricate nano electrospray emitters.

At the Hybrid Technology Hub, Stian will development his prototype system further and work on the integration of the system with new and existing tissue models at the hub.

In his spare time, Stian bakes sourdough bread and pastries and likes to stay active through climbing and cross-country skiing.
