HTH with Stefan Krauss participates as a partner, together with Peter Loskill (Univ. of Tübingen), in the HAVOC project, which is coordinated by Laura de Rooij (CeMM, Vienna).

The HAVOC project is funded through the TRANSCAN-3 "Joint Transnational Call-2024": Combination therapies against cancer: new opportunities for translational research.

The HAVOC project has a total budget of € 975,000 and a duration of three years.

The primary objective of HAVOC is to create a human-relevant in vitro model of breast cancer that integrates the tumor microenvironment and tumor endothelial cells within a robust and scalable microfluidic Tumor Organ-on-Chip (TrOoC) platform.
