HTH Coordinated Project Awarded Nansen EDU Funding.

HTH Coordinated Project Receives Funding to Strengthen Educational Partnerships Between Norway and Ukraine.

The funded project, titled NAM-TRANSFORM, establishes a structured partnership between the University of Oslo (UiO) and three Ukrainian universities in Kyiv and Odesa.

The project will support the joint development of a Master’s-level course in New Approach Methodologies (NAMs), combined with supervised laboratory training during research stays at UiO and exposure to international translational research environments. Together, these activities will create a structured educational pathway in this emerging field.

NAM-TRANSFORM will benefit Master’s students through advanced laboratory skills training and provide academic staff with opportunities for joint supervision and curriculum co-development. The project will also contribute to strengthening institutional capacity and long-term academic collaboration among the partner universities.

Project Coordinator: Stefan Krauss together with Aleksandra Aizenshtadt.

Total funding: NOK 5 million over three years.

Nansen EDU is a Norwegian funding programme that supports long-term cooperation between higher education institutions in Norway and Ukraine. It is part of Norway’s broader Nansen Support Programme for Ukraine.
