The "Nordic Research Network on Vascularized 3D Organon-Chip Systems" will establish a Nordic research and innovation hub dedicated to functional vascularized organ-on-chip systems. HTH postdoctoral researchers Ludivine Delon and Andrea Dalmao-Fernandez will lead the Norwegian branch of the project.

Over the next three years, the project will bring together researchers across the Nordic region through a series of scientific activities. In collaboration with Janne Koivisto (project leader, Tampere University), Neeraj Katiyar (Uppsala University), Martta Häkli (Tampere University), Ana Spencer, and Rekha Tripathi (both from KTH Royal Institute of Technology), NORDVASC3D will strengthen the Nordic contribution to key European priorities, including reducing animal experimentation and improving the human relevance of biomedical research.

The project has a total budget of NOK 2 million.
