About the group
A major part of our research is in cancer epidemiology and cancer prevention. We study a broad range of lifestyle and occupational factors and their role in cancer aetiology. Several of our projects are in skin cancer prevention, and prognosis after skin cancer diagnosis. Our research also covers other malignancies including breast, colorectal, lung, bladder and prostate cancers, as well as other noncommunicable diseases such as cardiovascular diseases. Furthermore, we focus on important sources of bias in observational studies. See Projects, Achievements and News for more information. Our research is conducted in close collaboration with colleagues in medicine, physiology, dermatology, oncology, pathology and biostatistics.
