About the group
We study a broad range of lifestyle and occupational factors and their role in cancer aetiology. Several of our projects focus on skin cancer prevention and the prognosis following a skin cancer diagnosis. Our research also encompasses other malignancies including breast, colorectal, lung, bladder, and prostate cancers, as well as other noncommunicable diseases such as cardiovascular diseases. Additionally, we examine important sources of bias in observational studies. Our research is conducted in close collaboration with colleagues in medicine, physiology, dermatology, oncology, pathology, and biostatistics.
