Faglige interesser

Vi studerer mekanismene som involvert i aryl hydrokarbon reseptor (AHR)-signalering, påvirket activitet av endogene forbindelser, næringsstoffer og som miljøgifter. Vi studerer hvordan AHR regulerer genuttrykk og hvordan den påvirker andre reseptor-medierte signalveier og hvordan AHR fungerer under normale fysiologiske forhold, i metabolske sykdommer, i kreft og i forbindelse med inflammasjon. Vi er spesielt interessert i hvordan disse prosessene påvirkes av det AHR-regulerte målgenet TIPARP (TCDD inducible poly-ADP-ribose polymerase).
