Department of Cardiology
The Department of Cardiology is located both on campus Rikshospitalet and Ullevål, and has special competence in research, diagnoses and treatment in interventional cardiology, heart failure, valvular diseases, genetic heart diseases, cardiomyopathies and advanced electrophysiology.
The department has the National unit for patients with pulmonal hypertension, National unit for Pregnancy and Heart Disease, National Unit for Surgery and Intervention on Congenital Cardiac Disease, and the cardiology National Unit for Organ Transplantation.
