Finance Section

The Finance Section serves as the Institute’s competence unit for finance and procurement. Our financial operations are, as far as practicable, characterized by standardized, predictable processes.

The section is responsible for institute-level financial management and control and supports local managers and employees with financial advice related to allocated funds.

In addition, the section/we:

Leads larger procurement processes and provides purchasing advice.
Assists project managers and other scientific staff with the financial framework conditions for their research activities.
Equips the Institute and faculty management with a sound basis for informed decision-making.
Acts as a competence body for local financial work.
