Bakgrunn

Spesialist i allmennmedisin, klinisk arbeid som allmennlege siden 1981. Er p.t. fastlege ved Kurbadet legesenter i Oslo. Er utdannet familieterapeut med 10 års arbeidserfaring fra dette fagfeltet.

Dr. med. i  2002 med avhandlingen: “Influence of social inequality and self-efficacy on rheumatoid arthritis and non-inflammatory musculoskeletal pain”, medisinsk fakultet, UiO.

Professor fra 2009, 50% stilling.
